Atlanta Thrashers Sports Bars: Where To Drink When The Team Makes You Reach For The Bottle

If ever a game inspired alcohol consumption, it was last night's. A lot.

If there's one thing that the Thrashers are good at, it's giving people a reason to curl up with alcohol and occasionally cry. Some of you prefer to do it at home where you're not embarrassed by it, but sometimes it's fun just to go out. We all know that Taco Mac and Applebee's are sponsors of the team and are good places to run out to, but what SB Nation's trying to do is get together lists of local watering holes for your libation needs - places that aren't usually chains.

Taco Mac's always my pick, but if it's a busy sports day, forget about getting the game on a TV with sound, or getting it on TV at all in some locations. Feel free in the comments to list your favorite places, along with their location, and I'll compile it into a easy guide to boozing it up hockey style. I'd like to have places on all sides of Atlanta covered, as well as the suburbs, so that way people aren't driving 50 miles to drink.
