Thrashers Defenseman Dustin Byfuglien Reunited With Blackhawks Buds On Team Lidstrom

Someone's happy to be playing with half of the Western Conference again.
Someone's happy to be playing with half of the Western Conference again.

Team Lidstrom might just win the All Star Game. Not just because they were smart and drafted Dustin Byfuglien, but because Nicklas Lidstrom, Patrick Kane, and Martin St. Louis didn't have to cater to hometown fans and family, and just picked the best hockey player available. Period. His team's got the best goaltending in Tim Thomas, Marc-Andre Fleury, and Jonas Hiller, and it has the league's leading goal scorer with Steven Stamkos. It also has number one and number two in goals by a defenseman, with Buff and Minnesota's Brent Burns. Oh, and it has the Conn Smythe trophy winning Jonathan Toews, who was hilariously (or painfully) strung along by Patrick Kane for half of the draft before being chosen. The complete line-ups for both Team Lidstrom and Team Staal can be found on NHL.com. After the jump, Buff's teammates.
