The major junior playoffs have begun. Most teams have played either 2 or 3 games. The big news from a Thrashers perspective is the great starts by Ed Pasquale and Chris Carrozzi.
- Carrozzi allowed 2 Goals on 27 shots for .931 SV% and has 1 win for his team.
- The Saginaw Spirit are underdogs against the Kitchener Rangers. Ed Pasquale was terrific for Saginaw in the 1st game turning away nearly over 40 shots and forcing OT where Kitchener finally beat him. But Pasquale got the win in the 2nd game. So far he has allowed just 4 Goals on 75 shots for an impressive .949 SV% against a higher ranked opponent.
It has been a slow start for most of the Thrashers skaters so far.
