USA Today reports that on May 20 a group bid $500 million to buy everything and keep the Thrashers in Atlanta. If this is true, and I want to point out that USA Today is a pretty reliable source, then the ASG and the NHL totally screwed us over. I smell a rat. Either the ASG lied about a lack of other bidders or they and the NHL are in cahoots to screw us over and relocate the team.
