Calm Down, Everyone! Nothing To See Here! Sale IS NOT FINAL.

Ok, I know that the Globe and Mail's Stephen Brunt published this little article that made Twitter explode with both panic and messages of congrats for Winnipeg. While obviously not promising, keep a few things in mind. Tweets like this were made daily about Phoenix. The same guy who owns the Globe and Mail is TNSE's David Thomson. Also, about two or three minutes after the "Thrashers Moving To Be Announced Tuesday" story broke, these tweets started appearing:

Based on my reporting... no evidence that there is a deal done between Thrashers owners and those wanting to move the team to Winnipeg.less than a minute ago via web Favorite Retweet Reply

There are still significant issues being negotiated according to Wpg and Atlanta sources. Working on it...but deal is not done. More ahead.less than a minute ago via Twitter for BlackBerry® Favorite Retweet Reply

Tweets from Chris Vivlamore and other sources promptly followed. Is it positive? No, of course not. Is it giving all of us panic attacks? Of course. I'm not going to post anything on here until something official is said because I don't want people to freak. We all saw how quickly news spun on Twitter. I will not do that to you guys.
