I'd like for you to compare these two Thrashers quickly:
- Player 1: 52GP, 13G 15A, -14, 6 PPG, 1 SHG, 2 OTG, 19:25 TOI/G (14:36 ES, 1:40 SH, 3:07 PP)
- Player 2: 46GP, 13G 15A, +12, 2 PPG, 2 SHG, 1 OTG, 17:32 TOI/G (13:28 ES, 1:41 SH, 2:22 PP)
Which of these players is performing better? It seems almost clearly to be Player #2. Who are these players?
- Player 1: Rich Peverley
- Player 2: Bryan Little
I think we've done two things this season: overstated how good Rich Peverley is and failed to talk about how good Bryan Little is. In slightly less ice time than Peverley, Bryan Little has scored just as much and done so while seeing far fewer pucks enter his own net. I'll hopefully have more to say about Little in the near future.
