Typical Dudley comments

Thanks for posting this. It’s typical Dudley though. Equal mixture of honesty (Artyukhin is big and can hit people and they wanted that combo) and b.s. (he might score double digits in goals). I am theoretically eligible to be president of the USA, so I “can” be president, but will I? Not very likely. Neither will Artyukhin likely score 10+ goals. Just like when Dudley talked about Cormier it was a mixture of honesty and b.s. but with a much greater emphasis on the b.s. part of his resume (ie. he’ll for sure be a 2nd line player – yeah, right).

if you extrapolate his production this season, he’s just about at 9 goals in 82 games. is it really that far fetched to say he could get 10?

He’s at a 9-goal rate playing 8 minutes.

Yes, he could get 10 goals. Doesn’t mean he will, but he certainly has the ability.

I like Dudley. Smart guy, interesting comments, etc. But I am perpetually distracted by the squirrel nest on his head.

His dress is only slightly better than Don Cherry’s. Also distracting.
