Good work, boys.

I’ve always enjoyed going to games in Atlanta and kind of know what it feels like to trade a franchise player with Jagr going at his peak…..Even though I can’t really compare since Pittsburgh re-loaded.

I hope things turn out well and they draft/develop well this time around. Hope the team can live up to the dedication of the diehards, ya’ll deserve it.

Congrats. I think that here is appropriate to make a comment for The Falconer.

Falconer – the value of website is not at all determined by whether or not you were able to be the “first” to break the news of the Kovy trade, as you tried to do some days ago. Remember that. And also remember as I warned you that your source was WRONG about the trade. There probably really was some discussion with Los Angeles at the time, but I hope you and others learned that having someone other than the GM tell you “Player X is about to be traded to team Y!” is a pretty far cry from that actually happening.

Who’s to say that the source was wrong and the NJ stepped in yesterday and offered a better deal?

Right

He was reporting a rumor from a source and presented it as such. No one equates that with being a sure thing. And since we don’t know what really went down behind the scenes with the Kings/Thrashers talks, we can’t and shouldn’t be wagging any fingers.

He was wrong about the trade; lots of people were. Falconer had what he thought was a good source and was willing to take the risk of posting the info with his name attached to it, knowing full well it could be a bust. I think it took guts to take that risk and I admire him for it. :)

Yeah, that silly Kevin Allen won’t report anything until he’s 100% sure. Where’s the sport in that?
