Are Canadiens Snubbing Americans Going to the NHL Draft?
Chemmy over at Pension Plan Puppets has an interesting story. It looks like the Montreal Canadiens are only distributing tickets to people who live in Canada. Seems a bit odd given that the NHL Draft is a league wide event. Maybe they're heard that American fans packed the stands at the 2004 Draft in Carolina while the upper deck was a virtual ghost town when the Draft was in Toronto (supposed center of the hockey universe) in 2002. I personally attended both and the contrast was stark.
