Blue Crew 2009/10
One of the best innovations that Southern teams have brought to NHL hockey are cheerleaders in the stands during the games. While this tradition was already prevalent in College hockey it is believed that the Carolina Hurricanes Storm Squad was the first of its kind in the NHL.
Do you have what it takes? That's what I was wondering as I watched last night's Carolina/Pittsburgh game.
From there I found the Thrashers Blue Crew who are currently holding tryouts.

I'm pretty indifferent
I know one of the girls that was cut from the 2009 ice girl crew and those I think are helpful, nice to see some eye candy that actually is doing something purposeful. Unless they are unbelievably smoking hot, which they aren’t, I could go without.
