Around SBN: The Pros and Cons of an 18-game NFL Schedule

According to Blueland Blog it was the same ACL he had repaired last spring. Obviously, some very bad news.

Talk about bad luck. I mean, this dude is TALENTED. But he just is getting bad breaks here.

Esposito only played in 12 out of 22 games and had 4 assists, which suggests that he was a healthy scratch a good deal of the time. I know from football that you simply cannot continue to tear the same ACL multiple times and expect to come back from it. There is a limit to the ability of doctors to repair this kind of damage. I’m now pretty skeptical about Esposito and I think the sad reality is that he’s a lot closer to being another Alex Bourret than any of us hoped.
