If you were GM, who would you get?

Hey Falconer,
Steve here. Glad to see your postings have moved.
Saw today we went after Brett Skinner. Agree that the Thrashers should still give Brett Sterling a chance. I don't understand why they haven't. We couldn't do any worse. Williams and Christensen have turned out to be disappointments. I can't believe that Crabb has been brought up before Sterling. What about Kulda and Hoffman?
If you were GM, what defenseman and forwards would you go for as it is rumored that Schneider and Havelid are being shopped as are Williams and possibly Perrin?

I’d probably target picks or prospects. It is REALLY hard to names to target without knowing which teams are shopping for defensemen. Too early yet. You can always collect draft picks and then trade them in the summer or at the draft for something else that you want.
